💨 Abstract

An 18-year-old former student armed with a shotgun opened fire at a vocational high school in Siverek, Turkey, wounding 16 people before killing himself. The attacker, who had no criminal record, had threatened the school on social media. The motive remains unclear. The injured included students, teachers, a canteen employee, and a police officer. Five of the wounded were transferred to a hospital in the provincial capital due to serious conditions.
