💨 Abstract
The National Lottery is introducing a new game, Powerball, allowing UK players to compete with US players for a shared jackpot of over £1 billion, paid out over 30 years. Players will pay £4 per line, with odds of winning around one in 11.7 million. Additionally, the Lotto game will offer two chances to win starting June 7, aiming to double the number of millionaires created annually. The lottery has also completed a major tech upgrade.
