💨 Abstract

A humanoid robot named Lightning, built by Chinese company Honor, completed a half-marathon in 50 minutes and 26 seconds, beating the human record by nearly seven minutes. The robot participated in the Beijing E-Town Half Marathon, where over 300 robots ran on a separate track from human participants. Lightning and two other autonomous models secured the top three spots, despite some crashes.
