💨 Abstract

The UK faces challenges in tracking and mobilizing its strategic reserve of military veterans, with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) unaware of the whereabouts of most of the estimated 95,000 veterans who could be called to service. The MoD is working to improve data and communication with this reserve community. Additionally, concerns are rising about the UK's military preparedness, with a simulation showing the British Army could run out of ammunition in just ten days.
