💨 Abstract
A BBC investigation revealed that buying illegal drugs on high streets in the West Midlands is surprisingly easy. Undercover reporters were offered cocaine and cannabis in multiple shops. One shop in Cradley Heath sold 3.5g of cannabis for £30 and a gram of cocaine for £95. The shop owner denied wrongdoing. Local councils and police are working to tackle these issues, with Dudley Council closing 42 shops involved in illegal activities.
