A controversy has erupted in snooker over the use of chalk brands. Neil Robertson wants to ban Triangle chalk, used by Ronnie O’Sullivan, because it causes more kicks and messes up the table. Most players prefer Taom chalk, which leaves fewer marks and reduces kicks. O’Sullivan's use of Triangle chalk was a factor in his recent loss to John Higgins.
