💨 Abstract

Seven members of the Global Sumud Flotilla, attempting to breach Israel’s Gaza blockade, reported beatings and mistreatment by Israeli soldiers. Detained in international waters, they were held in containers at Ashdod port. Activists described harsh conditions and abuse, with some showing visible injuries. The IDF denied misconduct, but Israeli officials criticized the handling of detainees, noting it contradicted national values.
