đ¨ Abstract
In Ukraine, volunteers are repurposing banned British single-use vapes into power banks for frontline soldiers. These power banks, created from lithium batteries extracted from discarded vapes, are essential for powering devices like phones, radios, and drones in combat zones. The initiative, led by volunteers like Ben Hoerber from Florida, transforms waste into life-saving tools, reducing the need for soldiers to recharge equipment frequently and risk exposure to enemy fire.
