💨 Abstract
The Met Office predicts a hotter-than-average summer for the UK, with an increased risk of heatwaves due to global warming and El Niño. While June may start with rain, especially in the northwest, temperatures are expected to rise above normal in the second half of the month, with potential heat and thunderstorms in the south. Despite the heat warnings, near-average rainfall is still the most likely outcome.
