💨 Abstract
A British man, Dylan Phelan, was sentenced to six years and four months for encouraging a vulnerable American, Travis Dyer, to commit suicide during a video call. Phelan, part of an online mental health group, repeatedly urged Dyer to pull the trigger and laughed afterward. Dyer had experienced significant family losses and was manipulated by Phelan, who kept a record of the suicide and shared details with others. Phelan also had extreme pornography and indecent images on his devices.
