💨 Abstract

A nationalist activist, Daniel Thomas, live-streamed himself slashing a dinghy carrying a rescue worker in the English Channel. He shouted anti-migrant slogans and attempted to disrupt the rescue operation. Thomas, known for his far-right views and past criminal record, has previously crowdfunded boats to intercept migrant dinghies. He was discharged from the British Army on medical grounds and has a history of violent behavior.
