💨 Abstract
A former Florida police officer, Otto Lenke, was sentenced to death for the brutal murder of Richard Benson. On February 17, 2021, Lenke shot Benson three times and set him on fire at his motorcycle repair shop. The motive was jealousy over Lisa Diggs, a woman they both dated. Lenke was convicted of first-degree murder and arson.
