💨 Abstract
Comedian Katherine Ryan apologized to Victoria Beckham after a joke on "Have I Got News For You" was deemed offensive. Ryan referenced a 2013 email where David Beckham allegedly used a derogatory term, implying Beckham was similar. Beckham was offended, and the BBC upheld complaints, editing the episode. Ryan later explained she was being "cheeky" and apologized, citing post-partum stress.
