Prediction market startup Kalshi has sued New Jersey and Nevada after they tried to shut down its sports trading operation, claiming state gaming commissions lack authority over federally regulated platforms. This isn't the first legal challenge for Kalshi; last year it won a battle against the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
