💨 Abstract

Anthropic has acquired Coefficient Bio, a stealth biotech AI startup, for $400 million in stock. Coefficient Bio, founded by Samuel Stanton and Nathan C. Frey, focuses on using AI to enhance drug discovery and biological research. The startup, with around 10 employees, will join Anthropic's health and life science team. This acquisition follows Anthropic's recent launch of Claude for Life Sciences, a tool for scientific research.
