Firmus, an Asia-based AI data center provider, has raised $505 million, led by Coatue, valuing the company at $5.5 billion. This brings their total funding to $1.35 billion in six months. Firmus is developing energy-efficient AI data centers in Australia and Tasmania using Nvidia's technology. The company initially focused on cooling technologies for Bitcoin mining.
