💨 Abstract
Google has introduced new features to Google Maps to simplify user contributions. The AI model Gemini can now generate captions for photos and videos shared on Maps, which users can edit or remove. This feature is currently available in English on iOS in the U.S. and will expand globally and to Android soon. Additionally, Google Maps will suggest photos and videos from users' recent experiences for sharing, and users can track their contribution impact through points and badges.
