The Indian comic book industry is experiencing a renaissance, with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting partnering with the Indian Comics Association (ICA) to spearhead the Comic Creator Championship at the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in February 2025. This collaboration marks the first significant partnership among Indian comic book publishers in over a century and aims to elevate India's creative industries on the global stage.
