💨 Abstract

MediSun Energy and EMSTEEL have launched Project Elixir in the UAE, converting desalination brine into renewable energy and magnesium carbonate. This initiative aligns with the UAE's goals for innovation and sustainability. The project, supported by a AED 100 million R&D fund, will be installed at EMSTEEL's Abu Dhabi unit. It includes two systems: WEGen RED for blue energy and WEGen Green Pilot for magnesium carbonate production.
