Kauvery Hospital in Salem, Tamil Nadu successfully treated an 11-year-old girl with multiple organ failure due to Dengue fever. The child, who was initially in critical condition with failed organs like liver, lungs, heart, kidneys, and blood clotting system, was on ventilator and inotrope support upon admission. After 21 days of intensive care treatment, she was weaned off the ventilator.
