💨 Abstract

STL, a leading optical and digital solutions company, unveiled its MultiCore Fibre (MCF) at IMC 2024. The MCF suite includes ultra-thin fibres with 7 and 4 cores, drawn from indigenously developed multicore preform technology. STL demonstrated the fibre's capabilities through a live 400G network transmission.
