💨 Abstract
India has successfully test-fired its first long-range hypersonic missile, capable of speeds six times faster than the speed of sound and a range of over 1,500 km. The missile, indigenously developed, can carry various payloads and is designed to serve all branches of the armed forces. The test places India in a league of select nations with this capability, including the US, China, and Russia.
