US forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, flying them to New York to face drug trafficking charges. Despite Venezuela's formidable military, including Russian and Chinese weapons, economic hardship and sanctions have weakened its operational capability. The Venezuelan military possesses a mix of legacy Soviet and advanced weapons, such as Su-30 fighter jets, T-72 tanks, and S-300 air defense systems, but questions remain about maintenance and personnel training.
