Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in exile in India, congratulated Donald Trump on his election as the 47th US President. Hasina expressed hope for strengthened bilateral ties between Bangladesh and the US and commitment to working together. Muhammad Yunus, the interim government's chief adviser, also extended his felicitations to Trump.
