💨 Abstract

In 2024, Indian Railways underwent significant modernization, focusing on world-class travel, freight efficiency, and advanced technologies. The Vande Bharat trains, a symbol of modern rail travel, were introduced at 62 stations across the network. Railways also electrified 3,210 km of tracks and extended the electrification broad gauge network to 97%.
