Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that 5G technology is expected to inject around USD 450 billion into the Indian economy by 2040. He emphasized that 5G is more than just faster internet, laying the groundwork for smart cities, advanced infrastructure, and autonomous innovations. 5G has already been rolled out across India, covering 98% of districts and 80% of the population.
