💨 Abstract

Onkar Singh Pahwa, the Chairman of Avon Cycles Ltd, received the Padma Shri award. He dedicated this recognition to his parents who founded the business decades ago. Pahwa stated that bicycles have transformed from a necessity to a recreational tool, and children are now the primary consumers. He also mentioned increased exports to various countries and anticipates further growth with government initiatives like separate cycling lanes.
