Bibek Debroy, a key economic adviser to the Indian Prime Minister and Padma Shri awardee, passed away on Friday at the age of 69. He had a history of diabetes, hypertension, and a heart blockage, and was admitted to AIIMS on October 31 due to subacute intestinal obstruction.
