💨 Abstract

The film, television, and online video services industry in India generated a total economic contribution of USD 61.2 billion (Rs 514 Crore) in 2024, according to a new report by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) and Deloitte. The report, launched at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai, found that the industry supports 2.64 million jobs in the country.
