Indian shares rose on Monday, led by financials and Larsen & Toubro (L&T), as investors awaited domestic inflation data for rate cut clues. The Nifty 50 and Sensex indices gained 0.6% and 0.7% respectively. Financial sector, after recent underperformance, saw investor inflows. HDFC Bank was the biggest boost to the Nifty 50.
