💨 Abstract

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) reported a 12% increase in gold jewellery exports and a 10% decline in diamond exports for the first nine months of the current fiscal year. GJEPC is optimistic about a turnaround in diamond exports, particularly in the US, which accounts for nearly half of the total exports. A five per cent surge in US demand during the Thanksgiving festival provided some relief.
