💨 Abstract
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is discussing engine delivery delays with General Electric for Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA) under the LCA Mark 1A Program. GE is facing supply chain issues due to COVID-related shutdowns and is working to deliver engines in a timely manner. HAL plans to manufacture 24 aircraft per year and expects to complete 280 aircraft in 7-8 years.
