Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma invited South Korean CEOs and business leaders to invest in Assam at an event in Seoul. He highlighted the government's Act East Policy and the locational advantages of Assam. The Assam government has been hosting investment roadshows in London and Dubai, and recorded a 19.5% surge in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in the fiscal year 2023.
