The output of eight key infrastructure sectors in India decreased to a five-month low of 2.9% in February compared to 7.1% a year ago, according to official data. Sectors like coal, refinery products, steel, and electricity showed moderated growth, while crude oil and natural gas production dropped. Fertiliser and cement output increased, but overall core sector growth was 4.4% compared to 7.8% last fiscal.
