Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) assured the public of ample fuel and LPG supplies nationwide, dismissing the need for panic buying. This reassurance follows social media reports of people queuing at petrol pumps due to escalated tensions between India and Pakistan. Panic buying was observed in states bordering Pakistan, such as Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, after recent cross-border attacks. IOC advised citizens to stay calm and avoid unnecessary rushes to maintain smooth supply lines.
