💨 Abstract
Oil prices rose over 1% on Thursday due to increased winter fuel demand caused by cold weather in the U.S. and Europe. Brent crude futures reached $77.14 a barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures reached $74.16. The rise is attributed to stronger refinery run rates and increased use of heating fuels in the Northern Hemisphere.
