Oil prices increased on Friday, approaching a fourth weekly gain, due to U.S. sanctions on Russian energy trade that disrupted supply and raised spot trade prices and shipping rates. Brent crude futures rose 0.5% to $81.73 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures climbed 0.8% to $79.3 a barrel.
