💨 Abstract
SEBI has extended the deadline for direct securities payouts to client's demat accounts from October 14 to November 11, to ensure smooth implementation without market disruptions. The move aims to protect client securities, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce risk. The new rules will enable direct credit of securities to investors' demat accounts after a trade, reducing the role of stockbrokers in the settlement process.
