A new startup named Promise, backed by Peter Chernin and Andreessen Horowitz, has been launched to produce films and series using generative AI tools. The company aims to capitalize on the GenAI boom and is working with Hollywood stakeholders to create a multi-year lineup of content. They are developing a production software called Muse that will integrate GenAI throughout the process of producing movies and shows.
