💨 Abstract

The UK government announced a 21.7 billion pound ($28.46 billion) investment over 25 years to develop Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and hydrogen technology in northern England. The aim is to reduce emissions, create jobs, and stimulate growth in the industrial heartlands of Merseyside and Teesside.
