Hurricane Milton, a Category 4 storm, is approaching Florida's west coast, expected to make landfall near Tampa Bay. Millions of residents along a 300-mile stretch of coastline have been ordered to evacuate. The storm could bring a life-threatening surge of seawater to waterfront communities already damaged by Hurricane Helene. Warnings have been issued as the storm is projected to make landfall around midnight.
