Following Hurricane Milton, Florida has been hit with a wave of misinformation, including conspiracy theories about officials controlling the weather. Misleading claims included AI-generated images of flooded Disney World, unnatural "frequency waves" in hurricanes, and allegations that FEMA funds are used to house "illegal immigrants." Social media accounts also shared misinformation ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
