💨 Abstract

The Kham River in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, once a polluted drain, has been revived through concerted efforts. Starting in 2016, initiatives by the Confederation of Indian Industry, Varroc Engineering, and the Cantonment Board began cleaning the river. A comprehensive plan involving waste management, sewage treatment, and community engagement was implemented. The river now flows cleanly, with recreational spaces along its banks.
