💨 Abstract
Tropical cyclone Sean has led to the closure of several iron ore ports in Western Australia's Pilbara region, including Dampier, Ashburton, Varanus Island, and Cape Preston West. The ports were shut on Saturday due to weather concerns off the coast of the Pilbara, an area twice the size of the United Kingdom. Pilbara Ports also closed the region's iron ore hub, Port Hedland, on cyclone concerns on Saturday.
