💨 Abstract

A low-pressure area northeast of the northwestern Bahamas has a 30% chance of developing into a cyclone within the next 48 hours, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. The system is currently producing gale-force winds, but conditions for further development are only marginally favorable.
