Actor Mamta Kulkarni, known for her roles in films, has renounced her worldly life and assumed a new identity as 'Mai Mamta Nand Giri'. This transition took place during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in the Kinnar Akhara, a Hindu religious order. Kulkarni, 52, took 'sanyas' and received a new name in the same akhara.
