đź’¨ Abstract

Geologist Rajiv Nigam's research suggests that the 18-meter-thick wall at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Dholavira, a Harappan-era town, was built to protect it from tsunamis. The site, located on the Makran coast, a tsunami-prone area, was also a port city during the Harappan era, as sea levels were higher than today.
