American toy company Mattel, in collaboration with designer Anita Dongre, has launched a Diwali-inspired Barbie doll. The doll is dressed in a lehenga designed by Dongre, featuring delicate motifs symbolizing strength and beauty. It also sports a radiant bindi, golden bangles, and earrings. Lalit Agarwal, Country Manager at Mattel India, stated the doll celebrates Indian artistry, culture, and diversity.
