💨 Abstract

British writer-producer-director Britt Allcroft, known for creating 'Thomas & Friends', passed away at the age of 81 in Los Angeles on December 25, 2024. Allcroft brought the Reverend Wilbert Awdry's books 'The Railway Series' to British TV and the series ran for 24 seasons. She is survived by her daughter, son, and grandchildren.
