💨 Abstract

The Bombay High Court described AI-generated and morphed photos of actor Shilpa Shetty as "extremely disturbing and shocking." The court ordered several social media platforms to remove all such content. Shetty had sought protection of her personality rights and an order against unauthorized AI-generated content. The court noted that the material was "prima facie extremely disturbing" and violated her right to privacy. Shetty alleged that AI tools were used to create morphed images and merchandise without her consent.
